Canadian Immigrants Helping Immigrants to CanadaInnovation in Immigration

The mandate of our immigration practice is to assist Canadian businesses and in turn the Canadian economy by promoting outstanding Federal and Provincial government programs that facilitate the immigration of qualified immigrants. Roman has assembled an accomplished, professional staff to promote and educate Canadian business in regard to these programs for the ultimate prosperity of both Canadian business owners and new Canadians. We provide highly personalized, cost-effective immigration services for individuals and families who wish to immigrate to Canada from the first stages of the immigration process through to the new immigrant’s arrival in Canada, and on an ongoing as-needed basis.

Due to the labor shortage in Canada, particularly in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, high quality Canadian employers are desperately in need of many types of general and skilled workers, with positions that vary from entry level to professional postings. Most provinces in Canada have an agreement with the Government of Canada that allows them to nominate immigrants who wish to settle in that province. The program is called the Provincial Nominee Program.

Types of Positions Available

The sky is the limit in terms of the types of positions that are available. Currently, the greatest demands are in the construction and hospitality industries. In construction there are numerous possibilities for carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, painters, oil and gas workers, heavy equipment operators, concrete workers, mechanics, roofers, tile installers, welders, truck drivers, sheet metal workers, iron workers, machinists, and agricultural workers. Some examples of the types of work available in the hospitality industry include chefs and sous-chefs, cooks, managers, waiters and waitresses, housekeepers, grounds keepers and concierges.

Beginning the Process

The provincial nominee pre-application has been created by Zarowsky Law so that we can immediately forward foreign worker information to potential employers. There is no cost to submit your application. Once your pre-application has been submitted you will be contacted and informed of any job offers. Your application will remain active until you are employed in Canada.

Through the Provincial Nominee program the worker, and their immediate family members, come to Canada with Permanent Resident Status, and to an existing job for the worker. The worker and their family may, shortly after that, become Canadian Citizens, if they wish. The process takes approximately ten to fourteen months to complete.

Another option is to come to Canada using the Labor Market Opinion, in other words, using a work permit . This process is much quicker, however, it is only the worker who comes to Canada alone, on his or her work permit. Under certain circumstances this arrangement is more appealing to the family. For example, a family may wish to have one member come and get settled before the rest of the family follows. A second benefit to this arrangement is that the sooner the worker arrives in Canada, the sooner they begin to generate an income.
