Dr. Patricia J. Wales BSc ND Doctor of Naturopathic medicine 
Dr. Patricia Wales ND graduated in 1981 from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She practiced in Thunder Bay and Toronto before returning to her hometown of Calgary in 1996.
She has worked extensively with both provincial and national naturopathic associations to modernized the laws regulating naturopathic health care and natural health products. Dr. Wales pioneered a naturopathic practice within a multi-disciplinary Wellness Centre at a major manufac- turing facility near Toronto.
Blending scientific knowledge and her years of clinical experience, Dr. Wales makes the concepts and practical approach of Naturopathic Medicine come alive for her patients, the public and other health care professionals. A frequent guest on radio and television, she also presents workshops and classes locally to interested groups.
Her general family care practice ranges from infants to the golden years and emphasizes stress-proofing, optimum nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits. Individual treatment and prevention programs address concerns such as "I just don't feel well", digestive disorders, allergies & food sensitivities, sluggish immunity, ADD/HD, menstrual and menopausal imbalances, infertility, breast health, prostate problems, hypoglycemia, diabetes, arthritis and cardiovascular conditions. |
Dr. Jennifer Bunzenmeyer BSc ND Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Jennifer Bunzenmeyer BSc ND is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, a registered member of the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and a recipient of a CCNM award honoring her dedication and understanding of naturopathic therapies in clinical practice.
During her undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo (BSc), she volunteered to provide health education in Guyana, South America. It was here she realized that motivating people to look at all aspects of their health was a passion for her. Presently, the excitement of learning new concepts to bring to her clinical practice inspires Dr. Bunzenmeyer to stay current through courses and seminars and to make presentations to many different groups and organizations.
By combining naturopathic therapies, she works with you to support and enhance your innate healing process & the synergizing connection with the mind, body & spirit. She feels the beauty of Naturopathic Medicine is in its integration of different therapies- nutrition with diet and supplements, botanical (herbal) medicine, hydrotherapy, take-home self-help techniques, homeopathic drainage and Traditional Chinese Medicine - to assist in the body's healing process.
In addition to the above naturopathic therapies, Dr Bunzenmeyer has extensive experience and training in Biotherapeutic Drainage with specific European remedies to support the various organ systems of the body. These she has found, through practice, to bring a profound healing result in the body. She also brings into her work various mind-body meditation techniques to enhance a person’s awareness of self and decrease stress responses in the body and induce relaxation.
